Karamtola (CHDP-K) General Hospital, situated in the vibrant locality of Karamtola, Pubail, Gazipur, Bangladesh, has long been recognized as a cornerstone of healthcare excellence. Renowned for its diverse range of medical facilities covering medicine, surgery, OBGY, ENT, orthopedic, eye care, dental services, x-ray, ultrasonography, and more, the hospital has consistently upheld its commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community.
The ETP project, undertaken by Kingsley, was designed to treat the effluent water generated during various hospital processes. Given the diverse range of medical services offered, the ETP was envisioned as an integrated facility equipped with the latest technological advancements. The primary objective was to ensure that the effluent water met stringent environmental standards and, in turn, contribute to the overall sustainability of the hospital's operations. The Effluent Treatment Facility employed a Chemical Treatment process, showcasing the adoption of advanced technology to effectively treat and manage the hospital's wastewater. This approach involves the use of chemical agents to break down and neutralize contaminants in the effluent, ensuring that the treated water complies with environmental regulations.
