We also reduce GHG emissions by using energy-efficient equipment. Additionally, treated wastewater can potentially be used for daily use, reducing reliance on freshwater sources and lowering energy consumption for pumping.
Untreated wastewater harms aquatic life. Our treatment plants help to protect life below water by removing pollutants that would otherwise be discharged into rivers, oceans, and other water bodies. This safeguards aquatic ecosystems and the species that depend on them.
